This educational program started in 1994 with a fund granted in favor of the La Salle Brothers for the support of schools, boarding schools, and children’s homes located in extremely poor and marginalized zones, where low-income boys, girls and youngsters are granted scholarships, academic staff, food and boarding to improve their standards of living. This work is performed in the municipalities and villages of Norogachi, Creel, Carichí, Cerocahui, Chinatú, Matachi, Guadalupe, and Calvo, Nonoava and Batopilas, Chihuahua; Tlapa de Comonfort, Acapetlahuaya and Tlacotepec, Guerrero; Tlaxiaco, Mihuatlán, Ejutla de Crespo, Santiago Juxtlahuaca, San Pedro Pochutla, Huajuapan de León and Miahuatlá de Porfirio Díaz, Oaxaca; León, Guanajuato; Bachajón, Bochil and Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas; San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí; Banderilla, Veracruz; Querétaro, Querétaro;, Cuernavaca, Morelos; Estipac, Jalisco; Toluca, State of Mexico and Mexico City, Federal District. 
Likewise, this support has extended since its inception to the program Escuelas Esperanza de México, in the state of Puebla.
